What can I do if I fail to connect the Wavenote to the App?

If you cannot connect your Wavenote to the Wavenoter App, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: 

For first-time connection issues:

1)Charge your Wavenote: Check if the recorder is out of power. If so, please charge it for at least 15 minutes.It takes 2.5 hours to fully charge the device.

2)Enable Bluetooth permission:iOS: Go to your iPhone's Settings, find the "Wavenote" app, and ensure Bluetooth permissions are enabled.Android: Open your phone's Settings and enable Bluetooth and location permissions for the Wavenoter App. Before Android 12, the Location service must be enabled for Bluetooth scanning.

3)Enable your phone's Bluetooth: Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on, and keep Wavenote close to your phone.

4)Check the Indicator Light: When you press the record button, verify that the white light on your Wavenote turns on.

5)Reconnect to the App: If the light is on, try reconnecting to the app.

6)Restart the recording device: Press and hold the record button for 10 seconds until the white light flashes.

For reconnection issues:

1)Restart your phone: A quick phone restart can often fix connection issues.

2)Turn on Bluetooth: Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on.

3)Wake up Wavenote: Press the Record Button to wake up Wavenote (white light should be on).If the issue persists, please do not hesitate to submit a request , and we will take further action to assist you.
